A Weekend in Pensacola

 Happy Monday Y'all,

These past few weeks have been good, I am still in Marianna with Elder Corey and we are still having a blast. As I am sure you are all aware Hurricane Sally hit the southern part of our mission and actually went right through Foley AL which is where I was a few months ago. We were told we might get to go help with the clean up, and so on Friday we headed to Pensacola, unfortunately I couldn't go back to my old stomping grounds, but it was a good time nonetheless. On Saturday we headed to the church in Pensacola called the command center where there was all the tools and this massive set up, man it was crazy to see how organized it was and all the work that was put into it. So we got our work orders and went out, most of it was taking the debris from the yard and putting it on the side of the road, and as missionaries we can't use chain saws, so if there were trees that were too big we'd have to report that it still needed a chainsaw crew. we also would go to other places to do a "muck out" where we'd remove a bunch of nasty wet crap from buildings, doing muck outs was a little more fun cause we got to do some destruction, but it was all fun. I learned something too, wear pants not shorts when doing clean up like that. my legs are all scratched up, but it's all right. That was all the fun stuff, hope you guys have a great week!
