The Florida Life

Hello All,

Last week after 8 months I was transferred from the great city of Foley and the great state of Alabama and thrown to Florida. So far it's been great, my new companion is Elder Bell, which is nice because he was for zone leader for 4 transfers. Marianna is a great place, pretty rural and smaller, but still nice. I had an interesting experience this week... So  on Sunday right after our studies we had a family history lesson with a returning member and his wife who is on baptismal date. I decided that I wanted to get my "jitters" out and so I ran around the gym a few times. about two minutes before they get there the right side of my right shoe gets caught on the carpet and folds under the left side of the shoe, taking 3 of my toes with it. It sounded like a firecracker went off, I was almost certain I had broke my foot. Elder Bell brings me a wheelchair from the custodial closet and I sit in it with a throbbing foot. Right then the people we are about to teach show up and start knocking so Elder Bell walks to the door as I roll closely behind. we greet and I decide it would be best to call Sister Bytheway and she tells me "Ice it, no weight on it and go to quick care and get an X-ray, so we did that after the lesson and the quick care in Marianna doesn't accept either insurance so we decided to wait until Monday so we could go to the quick care in Dothan after district council. So that's what we did, I get an X-ray, It's BROKEN... I got a boot and some crutches. So we will see where this takes us in the next few weeks yep that was my week it was an alright one, the foot doesn't feel too great but other than that I had fun. -
