Montgomery, Birmingham, and Pensacola

Hello All,

This week has been an odd one... But also amazing! It started off with a trip to Montgomery on Tuesday we got to Montgomery at about 3:00 and then we tracted for the next 5 hours not the best use of time but it wasn't our area so.... Then we stayed the night and the next morning we headed to Birmingham for the Temple! Man that was the smallest temple ever! Especially coming from Idaho where every temple is massive.
But I was great to be back in the temple after almost 5 months of not having the chance to go. After the temple we started the long 4 1/2 hour drive back which was not my favorite. We got back late and went straight to bed. The next day was weekly planning so that was not very fun... But necessary. On Friday we went to zone conference in Pensacola and that was amazing as usual. President Allred is a great leader!
Saturday was good as well. We had a service project at the women's shelter where we painted ALL DAY we got there at 9:30 and we left at 5:00... Fun but tiring for sure.
Sunday was a good day as well we had church and then we had a lesson with Kristina and that was great! She's so close!
This transfer has been great, training is hard but it's also very fun!

Week 104 I think...

Hello All,

This week has been decent, Elder Meredith has left, and I am still here in Foley... now I am training! My new companion is Elder Batman... (said exactly the same way you say the superhero) Hes awesome, Hes from Utah(surprise)
Monday-Wednesday was a blur, it all went so quick however the next 4 days went about as slow as possible, but that's alright, i think its picking back up. we're still visiting a lot of less active members and we have no shortage of those in our ward. we have a few people that we are teaching and they're progressing slowly, but nonetheless.

He's living with his sister for right now as he finishes healing, but its good to know hes healing.

Well nothing much has happened this week but its was good!

Happy New Year!

This week has been good! It was like any other week. However we have an old guy who we are teaching that called us last week saying that he broke his hip and is in rehab before I was able to ask what rehab center he hung up... And he hasn't gotten home and he hasn't answered his phone... We have no Idea where he is so If you see a 79 year old man that can barely walk, or can't at all (due to his hip) he answers to Norman and also John. If you see him give us a call we've been looking for him thanks.

Anyways this week was pretty meh nothing too exciting, but we got transfer calls! Elder Meredith will be going up to Madison (very close to Huntsville) to be a Zone Leader and I will be staying here In Foley.

Today we went to Semmes about an hour and a half away and we went to this farm and got to see some animals it was pretty cool...
